Picos de Europa National Park

There are three possibilities of approaching the Picos de Europa National Park by car. The first, by the west massif from Cangas de Onis. This is a very popular and often crowded route that leads you to Covadonga and Enol and Ercina lakes area.

The second route, by the central massif departes from Arenas de Cabrales. From here you can either visit Poncebos, Camarmeña and trek the Cares Gorge trail or follow to Sotres, to the base of  Naranjo de Bulnes.

The third route, by the east massif in Cantabria starts in Potes, and Espinama, where you can take the Fuente Dé cable car. There are several well known trekking routes to Peña Vieja, Horcados Rojos and El Tesorero. …+ return…
